Re: industrial metal perforated ground..who helps

Hi Didier, In fact this is not so difficult. I don't know what shape the perforation has but in case of rectangular you can take for example a small block 10x10x2cm, copy/paste this block, make it some higher and smaller and subtract. Then you get a square with an opening, then via copy/arrange and ...

Re: Rendering quality of EVO

Hi Vipin, This project was made with a previous version of EVO (I believe 5.0). Nothing special done here, just using good quality 3d models and textures and experiment a lot. For the garden - showing behind the windows - I just added a "wall" with a texture of trees. Then I put in an (invisible) wa...

Re: Color temperature and Ra value

You're right dcanella !
It's very confusing for the customer seeing these values different from the specs.
In previous version of EVO this problem didn't occur.

Re: Color temperature and Ra value

Hi Kolja,

Thanks for your reply.
I'm aware of the fact that this has no influence on the calculation but the room summary report shows always this 3000K, this is a bit confusing for the customers.

Color temperature and Ra value

After updating to EVO 5.2 there occurs some strange problems. When I import a fixture (drag & drop or from a plug-in) it shows every time a color temperature of 3000K and Ra of 100, even if the LDT file has different settings e.g. 4000K and RA 80. Every time I have to fix this manually. Attached a s...

Re: Sketchup Export to Dialux

Hello Idermyer, It looks like the faces of the SketchUp model are not orientated in the right way. You have to check this in SketchUp : "view" "face style" "monochrom", now you can check: all faces have to be white, purple-coloured faces are not correctly orientated, you can change this by rightclic...

Re: Creating a Swimming Pool

Very simple, in this open end cuboid you place a thin block (as a watersurface), then ad a water-texture to it and adjust the reflectance and transparancy of this block.
