Re: Warehouse with pitched roof

Hi, I am not sure if I understand your problem, but I think there are several ways to construct this. 1. You can change the height of the storey in the storey tool and the roof geometry in the roof tool. 2. If you need a second storey, you can use the cutout tool and cut out the floor of the second ...

Re: Hole in a suspended ceiling

Hi Javier, yes you can construct this with suspended ceilings. If you would link to have the cut out sides closed, please use the "Ceiling thickness" and set the "Distance of raw ceiling" to 0. You can make polygonal cut outs in polygonal suspended ceilings if you would like. Just draw the suspended...

Re: EVO 3.2 / 3.3. CRASH

Re: Licensing within a working enviroment

Hi James, evo has a proprietary license, but for normal use there are very few restrictions, basically: -Use it at your own risk, DIAL grants no warranty. -Do not sell the software. -Do not decompile/reverse engineer or modify the software. The DIALux evo is free of charge and you can install and us...

Re: Evo File Size.!

Hi bruc3, Thank you for the information. If you delete the complete storey with the furnitures etc. and the same furnitures (3d-files) are not used in the remaining storey any longer, you are right, the file size should be smaller. The "Out of memory" problem during calculation is another problem. T...

Re: Evo File Size.!

Hi,

The file size may be the result of some models (furnitures, luminaires, ...), textures or other files (DWG, DXF, ...) stored in the project file or calculation results if you save a calculated project. The geometry itself does not need much space.

Re: Install DIALux evo 3.1 windows 8.1 minimale Systemanford

Hi, this seems to be a bug in our setup, on some systems the screen resolution detection fails if the font size is not 100%. Please try to set the font size to "small (100 % standard)" before starting the evo setup. You can change the settings back to your previous settings after the setup is comple...

Re: Graphic Requirements

Hi, Of course we can understand the problems these changes produce and it was no easy decision. You are right, the requirements did change in the latest versions and will change with evo 4 again (OpenGL 3.3). We know that this is not optimal. However this affects mainly a rather small group of users...
