Evo 9 Patch 3 - Glare index "D0" and Luminous intensity class "n/a"

Post by leftlaner » Mon May 11, 2020 12:40 pm

Hello,

As the subject of this thread implies, there is a bug with Glare Index Class (D0-D6) and Luminous Intensity Class (G0-G6) when using the Street Lighting planning mode. Whether the imported luminaire file is in ULD or IES file, the values are always set to "D.0" and "n/a" for ALL luminaires.

I have imported the same ULD and IES files to an older version Evo, where the true parameters for the luminaire shows up properly.
This means there is nothing wrong with the luminaire files, and there is probably an issue with EVO v9. :?

Hello leftlaner,

We would like to check the problem directly in evo. Therefore please provide us with the evo project file for analysis and also some screenshots showing the problem in detail. It would be of help if you could send us the link to this topic so that we could better assign this issue. Our email address is 'Support@dial.de'.

Best regards,

Hello leftlaner,

Thank you for sending us your evo project file. We have just received feedback from our developer. So, what evo shows is correct. The luminous intensity class is not defined in the range where the maximum luminous intensity of the first luminaire is located (maximum 200 for G1 is allowed according to the standard, for the luminaire it is 204, so it is not defined). It is similar with the glare index. For the glare index class D1 according to the standard, it is only allowed to be 7000, for the luminaire it is 8885, therefore D0 is displayed.

We have sent you another street luminaire with a different result. We assume that you have only checked luminaires with unsuitable values.

Best regards,
