Grids according to EN 12464-1

Post by Stefano.Vegnuti » Wed Jan 24, 2018 6:24 pm

Hello everyone!
I just need a small, "procedural", clarification. The EN 12464-1 regulation (and its Part 2 as well, if I am not mistaken), specifies criteria for setting Illuminance Grids, whose cell size depends on a logarithm of the calculation surface's longer dimension [P = 0.2 X 5^(log10(d))].
I was wondering if that is exactly what DIALux EVO does, when the option is set to "automatic", or if I would have to correct it manually.

Thank you so much!

Dear Stefano.Vegnuti,

We currently have a deviation from the norm when calculating the grid for the 12464-1 inside and -2 outside. This forces the user to manually check and type in the correct number of points.
We know this and will take care of it promptly.

Kind regards,
