Exporting the calculations from Dialux Evo to Revit Model?

Post by usisseven » Wed May 30, 2018 11:14 am

Hello Dear Forum,

I am a new member here and trying to figure out the BIM-Capabilities of Dialux.

I know that we can export the 3D volume of the model from Revit as IFC file into Dialux and that works quite well so far except window opennings but I am sure I will find a solution for it, if not I will ask here :)

Right now my main concern is to calculate the light features of the model and place the light sources in Dialux then import these results and the positionings of the light sources back into Revit model.

I know I can export the resulted drawing as DWG but I was hoping for a simpler and more BIM-wise method for it.

Is there anything you can suggest me to do?

Thank your very much,

Regards,
Okan

Dear Okan,

Unfortunately, the calculations can not yet be exported as an IFC file. However, the export will be implemented in our evo version in a timely manner.
So far, there is only the possibility to use the DWG export.

Best regards,
