Using a custom window / skylight

Post by RandomUser123 » Thu Jul 12, 2018 8:53 am

Hello,

I'm trying to simulate the efficiency of a custom skylight with Dialux Evo 8.0.

I'm using the 3ds import function to use a skylight i'm curently designing on a CAD software.

As i read on your wiki : "The calculation of the illumination takes place only in the interior and only by daylight relevant windows"

Does that mean i can't use my own designs in Dialux ? When i'm just leaving an opening in the roof for my skylight, there is no illumination in the room... (even with the skylight set to 100% of light transmission)

how to make my skylight detected as a "relevant windows" ?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Dear RandomUser123,

This is not possible. You can only use our DIALux standard windows/skylights.
