Light centre hight vs.mounting height

Post by stefanocavallierib » Mon Jun 17, 2019 12:30 am

Hello there, though i understand th difference between Light centre height and mounting height, i dont understand for example, if i have a 60x60 light, where these two hegihts are the same, why does dialux evo mount it at a differente height, or, why does it set the centre in a different height? Here is an image of what i mean.
I can send the file if its necessary.
Thank you in advance

Stefano

Hello Stafano,

The light centre height indicates where the photometry (= light center) is located.

The mounting height shows you in which height the luminaire is installed.

These information are located in the luminaire file.

The screenshot below shows you the mounting height and the light centre height in our evo software. The light centre is defined from the luminaire manufacturer.
