Calculation Properties

Post by Christophe » Fri Oct 04, 2019 12:54 pm

I have created dedicated properties for my project.
Regrading the us times could clarify how to define the
- "absence factor"
- "partial operation factor of the building operation time for lighting"
I have to explain to may Customer how these parameters influenc the calculation result ?
Thanks in advance.

Dear Christophe,

Absence factor:

The higher, the more likely it is that the room is not occupied.

Office 0 -> Always someone there -> Little possibility to save energy
Archive 0.98 -> Almost no one around -> Many ways to save energy

Partial service factor:

In short: If the building is not used, the factor is higher and you save energy because no light is used.

The partial operating factor of the building operating time indicates by how much the specified operating time for the respective usage profile may be reduced when calculating the energy requirement for lighting. The partial operation factor takes into account a partial operation during the balance period (e.g. holidays, holidays, illness, etc.).
