Vertical Illuminance Ev

Post by rimaantoun » Thu Feb 09, 2017 4:29 pm

Hello,

Is the vertical illuminance Ev (Ev-North, Ev-south, Ev-West and Ev-East) measured at height=0m in street lighting calculations ? and how we can calculate the illuminance Ev at different heights (1.5m for example)?

Thank you in advance,

Rima

Hello Rima,

The street valuation field includes an observer which is always 60m in front of the valuation field in the middle of the respective roadway, at a height of 1,5m above the ground. This is according to the norm EN13201.
