Hi,

I wanted to ask why with some photometers I do not get the cone diagram in the dialux output.

Dear Alice,

It is common sense to create cone diagrams only for rotational symmetrical luminaires. Maybe you can check whether your luminaire file is rotational symmetrical. As this is the only product type where the angle gives enough information to predict the result of the light distribution. DIALux also offers the cone diagram for products that are 2-axis symmetrical. For experienced users, this is useful. For any other type of fixture (e.g. asymmetric) the cone makes no sense. There it is better to directly check the luminous intensity distribution.
