Weird results whenn adding rear light to a roadway

Post by xime » Thu Nov 09, 2017 1:09 pm

Hi every body,

I am using Dialux for a while now, and I just saw something strange in street lighting (Dialux 4.13.0.0): for the same roadway, I made a calculation with "standard" (=Front) lighting h=8m only, and the same roadway with the same front lighting h=8m, adding a rear light h=4m.
You know what?
Emin[lux] in the roadway with rear and front light is less than Emin[lux] without rear light

Have you guys some idea ? I've check all the parameters, they are all the same, exept the rear light.

regards

Maxime

Dear Maxime,

Thank you very much for sending us your project file.
After a new calculation of the scene in the current DIALux version 4.13.0.1 we get the results as required. These results seem to be realistic. Therefore we wonder if you are already using the DIALux version 4.13.0.1. In case of not, please check your issue after updating to the current DIALux version.

You can download the setup via the following link:

DIALux 4.13.0.1 setup: https://b2b.dial.de/index.php/s/cIIy2QlIAdD5Bjy

I am not using 4.13.0.1 but 4.13.0.0.

I will test it on 4.13.0.1, and tell you about the results.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer.

Maxime
