Hole in a suspended ceiling

Post by J.Reyes » Tue Jun 17, 2014 4:15 pm

I've been looking if this has been post previously but I haven't found anything

Is possible to make a hole in a suspended ceiling as the one in the picture which let us see the true ceiling of the room ?

I know I can do it with a flat ceiling and a rectangular cutout, as seen in the other picture, but I'd like to know if is possible to do that in a suspended ceiling.

Thanks for your advices

Hi Javier,

yes you can construct this with suspended ceilings. If you would link to have the cut out sides closed, please use the "Ceiling thickness" and set the "Distance of raw ceiling" to 0. You can make polygonal cut outs in polygonal suspended ceilings if you would like.

Just draw the suspended ceiling and set the thickness. In the next step you can use the cutout tool to make the cut out.

Best Regards
