Problem with Light loss factors

Post by Bushair » Fri Feb 01, 2019 9:40 am

Hello,
I enter the light loss factor in the Settings tab - General Options. However, the value entered there is not the same as the value that the software uses when it performs the lighting calculation. For instance, I enter a light loss factor of 0.70 in the General Options page. However, the light loss factor stated in the output calculation report is not 0.70, it is 0.80. I request someone to explain to me why there is a difference in the light loss factors here and how I can resolve this problem. Please see the attachments which make my query very clear.
I request a clarification on the query raised above. Thanks

Hello Bushair,

If you change the value for the light loss factor in the standard settings, this value is only adopted in the new projects. I.e. you would have to accept the value once with the OK button and then start a new project or a new exterior scene.
