IFC import for Dialux EVO?

Post by Dathaí o'Bardáin » Wed Nov 25, 2015 5:09 pm

Hi, Does anyone know when we can expect to import ifc files into dialux evo? I saw a post that said 2016 but has a date been set?

Dear Dathaí o'Bardáin,

This feature will be definitely implemented in one of our next evo versions, but I can't give you an exact time at the moment.

Dear RJHellemons,

We have planned to implement this feature at the end of this year, but we would not give you an exact date.
You can download the plugin for Revit from the website of Autodesk: http://www.autodesk.com/education/free- ... /revit-mep
If case of any further assistance regarding the Revit plugin, we would like to recommend you to get directly in contact with Autodesk. After installing this plugin you’re able to use the command “dialuxexport” or “dialuximport”.
Currently it is possible to import DWG, 3DS, SAT and STF files into DIALux evo.

Best regards,

Hi Csuleiman, the url you given is for standard revit download. Is it STF Exporter you are referring for the plugin? Or there is another one?

Dear Novezeil,

Yes, you're right. We meant the STF interface for the plugin.
