Hi,
I have following problem:
Many manufacturer are providing very detailed 3d images of their lamps.
In small projects that's fine, but when I'm working on bigger projects dialux seems to get quite effected by this data - let's just say it gets awful slow.
It may already be in place ... but is it possible to automatically reduce the details or add an button to turn the 3d-details off and on.

Although i dont know if you can or not, but i would suggest you to use IES or LDT files instead of ULDm.bauer wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:49 amHi,

Thanks for the reply,
as workaround your suggestion is working.
But I think it should be possible to add this as a performance feature.
After all in the ies and ldt much information is missing, such as - offset for the luminary to the ceiling, wall or floor.
And if it becomes possible to turn the 3d objects of the luminary's on or off you have the advantages of both parts:
- high performance during positioning and editing
- nice 3d renders with the 3d objects present
- automated positioning on possible spaces
FYI - at the moment I work with - replace all luminary's of the type and both uld and ldt files.

Hello m.bauer,
Thank you very much indeed for your important feedback. We pass the topics to our product owners. They will discuss the issues and add them to our evo improvement list as new wishes. The topics will then be estimated and prioritized according to the effort.
