Dialux Evo Restarts when loading file.

Post by Alexhuu93 » Mon Feb 10, 2020 8:47 pm

Hello! I have a problem when trying to open ANY saved file in dialux 8.2.
As soon as i click the file i want to open, it loads for a bit, and then:

"Fatal error occurred when loading the file C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\AppData\Local\DIAL GmbH\DIALux\test.evo
The program will be restarted"

Is there a patch or a workaround for this? i really love the program but i can't really work with it when i can't open saved files.

I have a Lenovo P50, running windows 7 Enterprise SP1.
Since it is a work-computer and we have strict IT-policies i can't really do much about my Operating System. i have _some_ admin-privileges but not complete.

Best regards,
Alex

Hello Alex,

Please make sure that your user account has full access (read and write) to the complete directory 'C:\Users\PC\AppData\Local\DIAL GmbH\DIALux\'.

If you have full access, please reinstall evo.

We recommend that you completely uninstall your current evo version from your computer system and install our latest evo 8.2 patch 1 version using the following download link. In this case, all DIALux components will be re-registered.

DIALux evo 8.2 patch 1: https://b2b.dial.de/index.php/s/remTwgv87qPCEJz

I solve this by creating a new folder inside DIALux folder called "RecentFurnitures" and one called "UserRTables"
When i solve these errors, the program works but i still can't load any saved files.
Could i be missing some important files inside those folders?

It kinda feels like its a problem caused by my companies softwares and/or privileges.
When i look at the dialux folder i can see i have read/write privilege though...

Best regards,
Alex

Please simply click on "Copy" in the window and paste the text into an e-mail as shown in the screenshot below.

It would be of help if you could send us the link to this topic so that we could better assign this issue. Our email address is 'Support@dial.de'.

This seems to be a rights problem on the computer.
In any case, you do not have access rights to your user folder - but you need read and write access here. We can only recommend that you contact your admin. This definitely seems to be nothing we can help you with.

Yeah i think so too. one other error i get is "Unbehandelte Ausnahme: Access to the path '\\xxxxxxxxxxxx.com\FolderRedir\SE\xxxxx\xxxxxxxxx\Documents\DIAL GmbH\DIALux\UserFurnitures' is denied."
the software routes everything trough our companies network. And that is closed. i will probably have to talk to our it-support..

Yes, you'd really better ask your IT guys about that.
