Parking Lot Lighting

Post by sbowker » Thu May 07, 2020 9:01 pm

Hello, I'm looking for recommendations to easily layout an exterior space like a parking lot. In other lighting software I've used, you can create an "iso-footcandle template" for the luminaire at the desired mounting height, and this template allows you to figure out appropriate fixture/pole locations in order to meet required light levels. Does such a tool exist in Dialux?

Thanks

Hello sbowker,

You can make use of the "Estimate calculator" feature in the luminaires tool - as shown in the screenshot below. With its help you can create your lighting design according to defined lux values.
