DWG Export function

Good morning everyone, I'm having anissue with the .dwg export function in Dialux EVO. It turns out that when I export a 2D drawing, luminaires are of course exported as 2D blocks, but nonetheless they retain their geometrical complexity. (see image attached) This makes it sometimes almost impossibl...

Tilted calculation surfaces for stairs

Hello! I was checking out this old topic: https://dxboard.dialux.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=81803&p=96435&hilit=stairs#p96435 This looks neat, and yet time-consuming...maybe only suitable if one has only a repetitive staircase design. In a different tutorial on YT, I watched an individual tilted surfa...

Grids according to EN 12464-1

Hello everyone! I just need a small, "procedural", clarification. The EN 12464-1 regulation (and its Part 2 as well, if I am not mistaken), specifies criteria for setting Illuminance Grids, whose cell size depends on a logarithm of the calculation surface's longer dimension [P = 0.2 X 5^(log10(d))]....

Curves!!!

Hello there! I have one small wish: to be able to draw curves and/or arches (and why not splines and Bezier curves?) while creating contours, surfaces, extrusion bodies and so on...instead of creating many short segments. Although it won't change things dramatically, it may definitely improve, IMHO,...

Calculate each light scene independently

Hello there, I am currently working on a project for large building and in order to keep everything coordinated, I have both daylight scenes and artificial lighting in the same file. Now, since Daylight Factors take way much longer to be calculated than artificial lighting, would it be possible to c...

Re: PDF Export/Rooms Order

Unfortunately it is not possible to sort the pages in the documentation nor sort the rooms as required. As we know about this wish, we have already added both points to our roadmap for an implementation in one of the upcoming evo versions. Clear and timely reply, thank you so much! Do you have a ti...

PDF Export/Rooms Order

Hello everyone, I need to set up a PDF document that contains all the outputs for a large number of rooms. However, as I'm checking them in the outputs column, I can't get Dialux to reorder them the way I want (rooms shall be listed according to a precise order...each has a code that begins with a l...

Various issues

Good evening, I'm currently working on the project for a mixed use (library/canteen) academic facility. My questions: 1) Is it possible to set - within the traffic light system - a minimum target for the daylight factor as well? 2) The library is a more or less open space within which are 4 assessme...
