Re: Boolean operations not working with a previous DIALux 4 project

Hello jkml,

No, here there is no possibility to edit the object further in evo. You would have to edit the object in an external program and then insert it into evo.

Re: Boolean operations not working with a previous DIALux 4 project

Hello jkml,

Imported furniture such as 3DS objects are read in as a single object and therefore do not consist of individual elements in evo. This means that the Boolean operations cannot be applied, so that neither the subtract nor the split function is possible.

Re: Rotate the fittings beam distrubition individually

Hello andersoncheng, If you select the line arrangement once, all luminaires of this arrangement are selected. However, as soon as you select a luminaire from this line array a second time, only this individual luminaire is marked as selected. This means that if you click twice with the mouse, you c...

Re: Radial calculation

Hello White, Yes, I can agree with your statement. The roadway luminance L at point P on the roadway is determined by the illuminance E and the reflection properties of the road surface. The illuminance E is dependent on the spatial luminous intensity distribution I (¥, ƒ) of the luminaires, the lum...

Re: Dialux stopped working + deleted parts of the project

Hello jkml,

The Boolean operations are only available for furniture and objects. Please check in your evo project whether the problematic objects are room elements. In this case, this function is not active.

Re: Radial calculation

Hello White, The radial calculation grid as you know it from DIALux 4.13 does not exist in evo. However, you can construct a roundabout using the polygonal calculation surface in evo. Please also have a look at the following thread: https://dxboard.dialux.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=88501&p=108699&hilit...

Re: led strip

Hello AlexG, Erco is our DIALux partner, but has not yet entered into a Lumsearch partnership. Therefore, you will not find this manufacturer in Lumsearch. However, you can download the Erco plugin or use the online catalogue directly to get the luminaires you are looking for. Best regards, DIAL Sup...

Re: Dialux stopped working + deleted parts of the project

Hello jkml, Yes, you can import DIALux 4 interior projects into evo and then save them as an evo project. You can then load this project in the evo 64-bit version and continue working there. Please keep in mind that is only possible to import DIALux 4 interior projects into evo, but not the other wa...

Re: Street lightining - Optimisation basis

Hello White,

It is not possible in evo to optimize a street profile like the sidewalk. In the street planning of evo according to EN13201, the optimization options always refer to the luminaire arrangement.
