luminance on tunnel walls

Post by HelmutZahn » Tue Aug 25, 2015 6:57 am

For a tunnel lighting installation I would like to read luminance values on the tunnel walls, for a car driver at standard distance as used for luminanc calculations on the street. Does anybody have an idea or a model that shows how this can be done? Thank you.

Dear HelmutZahn,

Here is an instruction how you could construct a tunnel in our DIALux software:
1) You have to paste an cube or an extrusion volume
2) After this paste an horizontal cylinder in the project
3) Fix the two object together below and use the subtract modus to make you tunnel like in the picture below

Kind regards,
Your DIALux team
