Hi,
I need to modify a project for a soccer field by changing the VTAC product with another manufacturing company OPTONICA which is not on the list.
Is there any solution to import a floodlight or modify the existing one to obtain a right calculation?
Thanks in advance.

Dear Mr. Voci,

Unfortunately we need to tell you that the luminaire manufacturer OPTONICA is not a DIALux licensee yet. Therefore there is no OPTONICA lighting plugin for DIALux available at present. But as the number of DIALux project partners is continuously growing there might be hopefully a cooperation in the future.

But there is still the possibility to make use of the products of OPTONICA in DIALux:

In general you have the possibility to use photometric files in terms of a luminaire standard format. In this content we would like to inform you that you can work in DIALux with fittings of any manufacturer worldwide, who offers his products as standard luminaire files. Most of the manufacturers offer the possibility to download their luminaire files from their websites. DIALux supports all standard formats like *.ldt, *.tm14, *.cibse, *.ltli & *.ies. You can simply insert a luminaire file by drag & drop from the folder, in which you saved the files, into the CAD view of DIALux .

So, to sum up we recommend you to ask OPTONICA for their luminaires files and import them into DIALux as described above.

Best regards,
DIAL Support Team
