Daylight factor according to EN-17037_2018

Post by Friso » Tue Feb 28, 2023 3:59 pm

There is a European norm for calculating the daylightfactor EN-17037. We use this norm in the regulation in The Netherlands. For this norm we need the DT50%. This means that the minimum daylight factor DT is achieved in 50% of the space. This means that at least 50% of the points on the calculation grid should meet the requirements.

Is it possible to calculate this? Maybe an export of all the calculated points to Excel. Now we have to manually put alle the points in Excel and find out what the lowest 50% calculated poinnts are.

Or maybe put this options in the calculated outcome, next to average, minimum, maximum also Dt50%. (wishlist?)

Hello Friso,

EN 17037 is not yet implemented in our evo software. In evo, the daylight planning is calculated according to the DIN 5034 standard.
We already have the request for the implementation of EN 17037 on our evo improvement list. When this standard will be implemented, however, we unfortunately cannot tell you at this point in time.
Freundliche Grüße / Kind regards
