Strange visualization of the isolines on the calculation surface

Post by Andrea Rosolen » Tue Jul 26, 2022 12:38 pm

Hello everybody

I cannot understand why of the following:
In this car parks simulation In the 3D visualization of the false colors you can see the colors and the isolines correctly as per the photometry of the article.
If I enter a calculation surface, the shape of the light output projected on the calculation surface does not match how it should be displayed.
Can anyone explain why the colors and isolines are displayed wrong in the calculation surface?

thank you very much

Hello Andrea,

There is nothing wrong. You use a calculation surface with a grid. This grid has a much lower resolution than the adaptive calculation used in the 3d visualisation. You can select the adaptive calculation for your calculation surface or increase the number of calculation points in your grid to get higher resolution isolines.
