Tunnel Lighting Calculation

Post by astorres6030 » Fri Dec 09, 2016 6:53 pm

Hello:
I have a tunnel lighting project to make.
Since Dialux Evo does not have any feature for tunnels, can someone please advise on how to make calculation for this type of infrastructure?

Thank you in advance.

Dear A. Torres,

We are continously in contact with a lot of lighting designers, asking about their most important needs. We have an evo roadmap to this requirements. Unfortunately tunnel lighting is not at the top of our list, but be sure that this feature will be implemented within the next years.

Maybe the following instruction to construct a tunnel might be of help:

1) You have to paste a cube or an extrusion volume
2) After this paste a horizontal cylinder into the project
3) Select both objects and use the subtract function to create a tunnel
4) Insert the luminaires as required into the tunnel

Best regards,

Good morning:

Thank you for you reply and instructions to make the tunnel.
In fact already made it in a bit different way.
Will be watching all the news about Dialux Evo and wait for this feature.

Thank you :-)
