Partial Storeys

Is it possible to create a second story that only covers a portion of the building? I'm in a situation where I have a very large building that is mostly one storey, however in two locations on the building there are multiple storeys. If I need to recreate the model, it will take me a couple of days of labor. I've considered raising the roof, then inserting lower ceilings on a room by room basis to match what I need. Please let me know if there are any other solutions. Thanks,

I don't know if I understood your problem exactly, but maybe the presentation of the following function in our DIALux evo software will help you.

With the function "New empty storey" you can construct a storey completely according to your specifications.
